AI Enabled Apps for Business Startups and Savvy Consumers

When AI introduced coding assistants, a new kind of software development exploded into existence – “vibe-coding.” Vibe-coding, or “no-code” as it’s sometimes called, is the process of building fully deployable software products without personally writing the code.

What? How can you build software without knowing how to code?
That’s one of the truly astonishing capabilities of AI: you can instruct it to write code for you. If you’ve heard of bolt.new, loveable.dev, or v0.dev, these tools are the mass-market players that claim to let you build an app from a single line of text. That’s absolutely possible for simple, single-task apps such as a to-do list or a simple game. But to build commercially viable products, it’s not that simple.

Vibe-coding is not for the faint-hearted. It takes perseverance and a lot of patience to spend hour after hour, day after day, tracking down errors that AI doesn’t get right the first time. AI works best with a task-oriented plan, but even then you have to keep it on task relentlessly; otherwise it forgets, duplicates, contradicts, and sometimes sabotages its own work. I treat each and every model I use to code as if it has no memory and will inevitably try to break the current build.
